I could have named my website anything….so WHY did I decide on thefuschiafox.com?

Fuchsia. It’s not a common color – and it stands out. It’s never been difficult for me to stand out, and I love when I’m able to work on and work out a good idea to the point where it becomes a reality and takes on life. Turning dreams into everyday life is an art form. It is special. It is beautiful to me – sort of like the color fuchsia.

Fox. The fox is an amazing animal. They are very independent. I’ve always been an independent thinker – willing to take on projects that either didn’t interest the rest of the group or was thought of as too abstract or overwhelming. The fox also does most of its work at night, and seeing how this website is a bit of a side project for me, much of my writing is done at night. Luckily for me, I’m most creative when the sun goes down. Foxes are amazing parents and are very playful. (Visit my blog page and you’ll get a good sense of how I feel parenting should be fun.) One more note, you may have heard of the clever fox. They are sly because they listen. I believe that we all need to do a better job of listening to one another in order to find common ground. The more we listen the more we learn. Hmmm, clever — but whatever….in any regard I hope you enjoy my site.
